YES! YOU MATTER TO US!
Great people achieve great things! Tomax is nothing without our amazing crew and we are proud of having every single person contributing to our growth and success.
As a company, we feel it's about time we started giving back and making sure YOU evolve personally together with the company in which you devote so much time and effort. We have teamed up with the best in helping us all smile more, helping us all live longer and not least, helping us all get healthier and being capable of reaching goals we didn’t think were achievable, wether in our work life or private sphere. Let's bring it on…
Don’t worry – be happy! Healthy people achieve more, spend less energy and are in general – happier people!
Achieving goals is rewarding. We are doing this together, is supported by the very best in getting there – and we will hammer down our goal and at the same time – be healthier than ever
Combined we will cover 20,000 miles and raise £20,000 for charity in 2020
Giving is living. We will raise money giving back to society taking an active role for those in need. One day we will all have that need
We will all be given step counters. Thereby, we don’t all have to be ultra runners to participate – every step counts and we will track it all together
YES! There will be a “race” calendar with 4 events in 2020 where Tomax will participate – and pay all fees. All of these events are voluntarily but we hope to see you there
YES. Tomax is one of the 2 major sponsors for ultra runner, Damian Hall in 2020. Besides publicity, Damian will do 4 speeches for us in 2020, he will do individual training plans / guides on exercise and nutrition for those who like – and he will help reaching our goals being our inspiration and mentor.
The best recognise the best… it’s a perfect match!
Nothing – Tomax has it all covered. We will provide shoes for those and T-Shirts for those who need them
Everything in life is a choice – however, we are doing this as a company, for the company and for the individual. We expect some kind of involvement, there is something for everyone

AIM FOR CONSISTENCY
Consistency is a boring word, but when it comes to getting fitter and healthier it’s the key one. It’s better to walk, run (or cycle) a small amount often, than a big amount occasionally. So 3-5 miles every other day, for example, is better than no exercise all week, then 10 miles at the weekend (even though 10 miles at the weekend is definitely still better than nothing at all). Doing things ‘little but often’ makes you more likely to fit them into your lifestyle, too.
HIT THE PILLOW
Other than regular light exercise, the best thing you can do for your overall health is to sleep well. Poor sleep is linked to numerous serious ailments, whereas getting eight hours sleep on average per night gives all sorts of resetting health benefits. Hit the pillow hard! Your body and mind will thank you for it.
Scientists talk of the biophilia effect: an innate desire to be in green places and the ability for nature to lift us psychologically. Numerous studies link wellbeing to regularly experiencing natural environments. Put simply, we’re happier and healthier when we visit green places more often. Exercising amongst trees rather than traffic, on trails rather than tarmac, has a double-whammy, all-round health boost.
EAT THE RAINBOW
There’s so much dietary advice around at the moment, often from unqualified sources, and that’s confusing. Put simply, above all else, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. They’re packed with numerous health boosting nutrients, tasty, varied, readily available and fun. Aim for as many colours on your plate as possible.
ARE YOU BORN TO RUN?
We all are. In fact running is what made us humans in the first place. Read Christopher McDougall ’s bestselling Born To Run to find out how.
Parkrun is a global phenomenon and a wonderful, inclusive community that welcomes everyone, regardless of fitness. It’s a free, 5K run (or walk, or walk-run) that happens every Saturday at 9am at a park near you. It’s fun, addictive and just plain wonderful

Every morning in Africa a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve
Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re the lion or a gazelle...
When the sun comes up, you’d better be running
